Off-grid energy systems/
Technological solutions

1. Technological solutions

There is demand for electricity not just in urban areas. Telecommunication companies, farms, hotels, guest-houses and also rural communities are prepared to spend up to 1 €/kWh for electricity. Up to this stage, the demand is mainly being covered utilizing diesel generators. In the long run, however, the application of photovoltaic in combination with battery systems is more economical, especially considering the rising world market prices for diesel fuel. INENSUS even improves the economic performance of these systems by integrating small wind turbines with solar and diesel power sources. Wind and solar resources complement each other reducing diesel fuel consumption and battery cycling. INENSUS operation control units for small wind turbines play a decisive role in integrating small wind turbines into hybrid systems. Furthermore, INENSUS approaches for hybrid system design create economically optimized power setups.

With INENSUS off-grid power supply systems, electricity can be provided to rural consumers economically and environmentally friendly.
